The Haverhill Firefighting Museum is happy to host field trips for public and private schools, parents who home school their children, and adult or youth organizations.

The museum offers the Hero Headquarters children's area with a 12-foot wooden fire truck to play in, fire hoses and reels, interactive wall boards, children's dress up gear and much more. We also offer lessons and content in the history of firefighting, fire safety and fire prevention.

From May through October, field trips are offered on the following days/times:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 am and 2 pm

Saturdays between 10 am and 1 pm

The fee is $5 per child/attendee and groups of 10 or more are preferred

To arrange a field trip we will need the following information:

  1. Name of your organization or school
  2. Name of the organizer/teacher for the field trip
  3. A phone number and/or email to contact you
  4. Grade level/ages of the students or attendees
  5. Number of students or attendees

This will allow us to prepare subject matter to ensure that the field trip is tailored to your needs
